Lestat’s Coffee House [ 3343 Adams Avenue ]

Combine Tim Burton’s visionary eccentricity with an interior designer’s fever dream, and the result is this  eclectic classic
European/contemporary coffee house smacked dab in the middle of every indie kid’s fantasy: a street lined with  independent record stores, cafes, bars, art galleries, mom and pop shops, and two of the best bookstores in SD. This spot is usually super packed, but I guess the Summer draws less crowds. Also, the humidity was suffocating me harder than J. Holiday. And it was 11 AM, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from getting coffee. Coffee is life and my Almond Joey drink was perfection.
