They pull the trigger, and a sandstorm of memories spontaneously sweeps through that deserted part of my brain–the arid wasteland that once flourished with rich reveries of you. The wind reveals a truth that refuses to stay buried. They say the storm won’t quit, so i’ve allowed it to continuously stir. They suggest that merely giving in means that I still care after all.
